One of many such quotes inspire me to keep going in the time of crisis. It enables me to envision the future state of affairs and the decisions taken during crisis are for that future set-up.
In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity
What we are facing today has no precedence and no groundwork would have matched the kind of crisis management we have done so far to protect ourselves and our business. While there is a unified commitment around the world to fight the COVID -19, we have encountered a dynamic change in the way we operate the business today. We are built to be resilient to crisis and always prepared to act fast in such situations. We have put in place robust measures that have enabled us to operate our business seamlessly and deliver to our customers.

Our value, “People Count”, is the foundation of who we are today. We are always committed to securing the safety and well-being of our people foremost. In a short span, we set-up and implemented a strong business continuity plan countering this dramatic effect. The new normal of working from home has seamlessly enabled people to operate, keeping them and their families safe.

While all of us are adapting to the new normal of work style, we have introduced a series of mental wellness and health programs for our people through partner organizations to support a healthy work-life balance. The adoption of enterprise social network simplifies the way we collaborate, connect, and engage virtually. Besides, our learning platform tool goes mobile, enabling people to up-skill themselves with a multitude of learning programs during this time - Anytime, Anywhere.

Having a passionate team enables us to ‘Do the right thing’ swiftly and on time. When the impact of COVID-19 was impending, we actioned a temporary shutdown of our India offices as a proactive step to protect our people with no impact on our business operations.

As an immediate next step, we enabled our people with the necessary infrastructure and virtual tools to keep them engaged and stay connected while working from home. It was a mammoth task to execute given the challenges we were encountering. I thank the crisis management team, support staff, and volunteers who relentlessly worked behind the screen to have a smooth transition of operations for majority of our employees.
